- The NCSC now has its own channel on YouTube. You can see videos of some of our members. If you would like to contribute a video, or if you have a channel on YouTube, please subscribe to our channel and send a message to the NCSongwriters Channel through YouTube so we can find you, and so you will be notified when we post new member videos. http://www.youtube.com/NCSongwriters
- The NCSC now has a small PA available for rental by the members. It is suitable for coffee shop type gigs for one or two players. If you need a small PA for a show, please contact Jon Batson at openmics@ncsongwriters.org.
- NCSC Seminars: The new NCSC monthly seminars for songwriters are scheduled and ready to go. More seminar info. See you at a seminar soon!
- NCSC Member Forums: As promised, the brand new NCSC Member Forums are available. You will need to Join and create a username and password to use the forums. That's how we control access. If you have any problems using the forums, contact webmaster@ncsongwriters.org.
- Show Finals Tickets On Sale Now. Tickets are on sale now for our contest show finals at 7:30pm on Saturday October 13th, 2007 at the Holly Springs Cultural Center. Our 8 finalists will each perform their 2 original song entries, and our independent judges will select the first, second, and third place winners based on their performances that night! This is always one of the most entertaining annual shows in the Raleigh area. You can buy tickets online or from the Holly Springs Box Office. Ticket prices are $10 for NCSC members, $12 for adults, and $10 for seniors, students under 18, and for group sales of 4 or more tickets.

- Jessica Klinke, the senior producer of the Carolina Breakdown show at UNC, has posted the podcast of our 2006 NCSC Song Contest Finals on both iTunes and GarageBand. It is very interesting listening, with performances by the winner Scott Pearce, second place Valorie Miller, and third place Jenn Adams, along with 2005 winner Sonya Lorell. The podcast is hosted by Jessica Klinke and Brandon Greaves, and the contest is hosted by Jamie Anderson. Thanks to Jessica and Brandon for their hard work in putting this podcast together. - Kudos to NCSC member Joe Woodson and his bandmate Jordan Koronet for taking 3rd place in the 2006 Folk Fest at the North Carolina State Fair in the duo/trio/quartet category.
- NCSC member Stewart Coley has received a full artist endorsement deal with Samick Guitars. Tony De La Rosa, A&R representative for Samick Guitars, said they are very impressed with Stewart's songwriting and performing abilities and presented him with two new guitars from the Greg Bennett Signature Series Line.
